Ex-LMP Group Will Form New Party In Hungary
The group of defectors from LMP will soon become a party and change their name to Dialogue for Hungary Party, Benedek Jávor, one of the faction’s leaders, told reporters at a Budapest café on Sunday.

MP Tímea Szabó announced that the new party will have two co-presidents, one male and one female, and a further five-member executive committee.

No decision has yet been made on co-operation with other opposition forces, but once the party has taken care of immediate tasks, it will want to begin talks, they said.

Talks resume today with LMP but it is certain that the eight MPs who seceded from the party will not return their parliamentary seats, Szabó confirmed.

She said they will not remain in the LMP caucus and therefore propose that the caucus be re-named LMP – Dialogue for Hungary.
