News From Seedling Trust In Budapest: Our Four-Footed Friends
Spring is finally getting its foot in the door, and with that comes the start of our animal therapy project, done in partnership with the Sirius Foundation of Erd. Most of us know the nice feeling of having a pet, but not everyone knows that there's real evidence that shows measurable benefits from one-on-one contact with animals, including helping in cognitive development, reducing stress and improving ability to interact well with others.

 We believe the pet therapy program will provide essential help to the Seedlings on many levels.

We're looking for donors to help us purchase the equipment necessary for the therapy, including but not limited to:
brushes, chew toys and other practical items
* doggie treats
* picnic blankets
* shade umbrellas
* shade tent (pavilion)

We will purchase wooden stools and paint them together with the Seedlings. For a 2,000 forint donation, you can have a loved one's name painted on one of the stools! To contribute or volunteer with the pet therapy program, please contact us.

We'd also like to say thanks again to Britannica International School for making a generous donation to help us launch the program. If you'd to help support this and other programs with your 1% tax allocation, you can do so here.
