Hungarians Win World TV Awards At Monte Carlo Television Festival
A Hungarian made-for-TV film swept up three top prizes at the Monte Carlo Television Festival on Thursday, while another took the best documentary award.

Aglaja, an M-RTL production directed by Krisztina Deák, won Golden Nymph awards for best film, and best director and its star Eszter Ónodi was named best actress ahead of rival nominations from around the globe.

The best documentary prize went to “Warriors” made in the Gaza Strip as part of MTV’s documentary series “On the Spot”.

The documentary was produced and directed by Eszter Cseke and András Takács for the state-run MTVA.
