11th IDBF Dragon Ship World Championship In Szeged, Hungary

At the opening event, Minister of State for Sport of the Ministry of Human Resources István Simicskó welcomed the 3000 participants from 30 countries. The IDBF Dragon Ship World Championship is taking place for the first time in Szeged, South Hungary, from July 23 to 28 where several athletes are competing.
The world championship is a colourful event of the year, taking place at two venues, offering a wide range of programmes for every visitor, such as a street carnival and an air show. The aim of the event is also to popularize dragon ship racing.
