Fidesz Rally On 23 October In Budapest
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán warned that Hungarian freedom has its traitors, to a crowd on Heroes’ Square that organisers claimed was one million-strong, on Wednesday afternoon. Some 40-60,000 Fidesz supporters were in attendance to mark the anniversary of the start of the 1956 Uprising, according to news website 168ora.hu, however.

Orbán told the crowd that “the methods of the left-wing are the same today as in 1956 or 2006. Let us have no doubts about it, today they would again issue orders to open fire on us, in the best case scenario with rubber bullets,” he claimed.

Orbán said in recent years Fidesz has made decisions in the interest of Hungarians and Hungarian freedom; engaged in disputes and clashes, and won them one by one.
