Pető Institute Budapest Rejects Charges By Anonymous Group
The staff members of Hungary’s Pető Institute, which is world-renowned for treating locomotive disorders in children, have rejected charges levelled anonymously against the management.

News website index. hu reported on Wednesday that “a group of desperate staffers” presented a report to the prosecution, accusing the management of misappropriation of public funds, violation of accounting rules, falsification of official documents and other illegal practices.

In a Thursday statement, the institute’s head, Franz Schaffhauser, said that all staff members rejected the charges. The management has ordered an internal audit and is open to an external investigation, too, he said. The police told MTI they had not started an investigation into the affair.
