Factory And Railway Works Boost Building Industry In Budapest

This October, production measures in the building industry has grown by 10.7% compared to statistics seen last year. This definitely is an improvement considering this September’s 9.3% rise according to Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH).
The construction of buildings has risen with 12.1% this year as a result of work done on industrial builndings and facilities. The works on other types of buildings have gone up by 9.5%. The rise experienced this year is due to the railway and infrastructure constructions as stated by KSH.
The number of contracts signed has also grown by a 10.4% measure. On the contrary contracts signed about the erection of further buildings have fallen by 30% due to the high measures of constructing health-care buildings.
The number of contracts regulating other constructions has risen with a significant 39.5%. These figures can be explained by the construcions planned to be made in infrastructure in the near future.
