Budapest Airport Winter Traffic Up Sharply

The year got off to a strong start at Liszt Ferenc Airport, as 850,450 passengers passed through the facility in the first seven weeks, an increase of 7.1% from the same period of last year, operator Budapest Airport announced.
Budapest Airport registered strong growth on flights to and from Russia and Turkey. Some airlines posted double-digit growth in passenger numbers.
