Andalgo Deli - Spanish Shop And Café In Budapest
- 20 Mar 2014 9:45 AM
High quality Spanish products, some of them made in Camarles, Tarragona by small family businesses offering the best local products – such as Bancals de Camarles olive oil and Queso Perfecto cheese. They also have quality Spanish wines like Rioja and Protos, and of course ibéricos: jamón, lomo and salchichón.
Hacendado products! The goodies of Mercandona (the most famous supermarket-chain in Spain) own brand. The fact that they have these is really funny, only the Spaniards who are living abroad know how important these excellent price-quality ratio products are in everyday life.
Nocilla chocolate cream, the Spanish version of Nutella, although for Spaniards, it’s much more addictive and definitely a national treasure for the sweet-toothed. The Argentinian alternative called dulce de leche, perfect with pancakes, is also available. Be aware, though, once you taste either, there’s no turning back!
Some genuine Spanish drinks like sangría Don Simón, cava Freixenet, cervezas Estrella Damm and San Miguel or Trina – which is a real rarity outside of Spain -, and, to top it all off, Lanjarón and Vichy Catalán mineral waters.
Other interesting products:
Spices: Spanish paprika, laurel, saffron and more.
Turrones.
Chocolate Valor.
Patés Casa Tarradellas.
Crema catalana.
But Andalgo Deli is not only a shop; it’s also a café where, besides the usual products, churros with hot chocolate are also at your sweets-addiction’s service.
Judging by the ambitious plans, Andalgo’s future looks bright: new Spanish products are soon coming to town, and the launch of a webshop is also looming on the horizon, which means that all the unique Spanish products will be available countrywide.
