Hungarian Christian Democrats Committed To Families
The co-ruling Christian Democrats (KDNP) will continue to promote the interests of families, and will also focus on job creation and infrastructure development in the next government cycle, deputies of the party told a press conference on Monday.

KDNP group leader Péter Harrach said that 16 Christian Democrat candidates in Hungary’s April 6 general election have won seats in parliament.

He said that the number of deputies in the KDNP group could still change, but added that the party “will continue to be part of the government”.

KDNP and senior coalition Fidesz will run in the upcoming European parliamentary elections and Hungary’s municipal elections in the autumn as allied partners, Harrach said.
