Hungarians Opt For Used Over New Cars

Some 40% of participants in an online survey plan to purchase a car in the coming two years, market researcher Nielsen found in a survey conducted in 31 European countries. About 8% are planning to buy a new car and 33% used ones.
The European average shows that 50% of respondents plan car purchases, and of that number, 22% plan new and 28% used cars.
Among Hungarians, 33% believe that a car reflects career success. The same percentage is 50% Europe-wide, the survey notes.
