Buda Castle Beer Festival This Weekend
Between June 13-15 around 200 types of 'liquid bread' will be available for tasting in Budapest's Castle District. Along with the biggest Hungarian beer makers and local craft breweries, this year ciders-makers also will play a role in the 'Cider Grove'. Plus the world’s beer super powers will also participate.

Local organisers say:

"Thirsty festival goers can keep themselves cool with English, Irish, Belgian, Czech and German drinks on the warm summer evenings.

Two new craft drinks come out at the festival: the honey millet of the Millet Beer and the Elixír 18, a beer made of herbs by the Gyertyános Brewery.

Guests can consume the beers from the usual 0.4-liter mugs by paying a deposit, while beer fans with the desire to experiment can also opt for 0.2-liter portions.

Everyone will find a concert that fits his or her music taste among those of the many popular Hungarian bands who will play at the festival."
