He will play Napoleon in the two performances scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights in Szeged’s downtown Dóm tér.

Depardieu made no special requests, but he requires only a security staff and an interpreter, local daily Délmagyarország reported.

His choice of accommodation remains a secret.

Depardieu will rehearse from Thursday morning in a theatre and in the afternoon on Dóm tér. There will be a dress rehearsal in the evening.

Depardieu will depart from Szeged on Sunday.
