June Budget Deficit In Hungary Lowest In 12 Years
The budget deficit reached Ft 813.7 billion in the first half, equivalent to 82.6% of the year-end target, the Economy Ministry announced. The budget deficit was Ft 132 billion last month, the lowest June figure since 2002.

The central budget recorded a Ft 965.9 billion deficit in the first six months, while social security finds made a Ft 114.5 billion surplus and independent state funds closed with a Ft 37.7 billion surplus.
