World War One, The Anniversary, Evening Prayer In Budapest For Peace
"Join with us at our monthly Evening Prayer service at the Szakkollégium in Svábhegy as we remember in prayer the beginning of World War One one-hundred years ago in July and August 1914.

We shall pray for peace in our world – still troubled as it is by violence and hatreds among nations and peoples.

Evening Prayer for Peace

Sunday evening, 17 August, at 5.00pm

Venue: Magyar Protestáns Szakkollégium

Address: 1121 Budapest, Eötvös út 35

The service will last about forty-five minutes, and children are most welcome.

(There are restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood, should anyone seek refreshment after the service.)"
