Hungary’s PMO Minister Lázár Wants International Team At Paks
PMO Minister János Lázár intends to install a team of international experts at the National Nuclear Energy Agency to help prepare the planned expansion of the Paks nuclear power plant, Lázár said on Friday.

Népszabadság quoted local sources as saying that the government will dismiss 800 people and change the management of the Paks facility.

It said utility rate cuts and a desire to break professional resistance are behind the plan.

Lázár said plans for a transformation are meeting resistance because they challenge interests that developed during previous governments.
