Balaton Sound Festival In Hungary: First 15 For 2015
2015 is off to a strong start for fans of Balaton Sound. The organizing team just happily announced a promising line-up of event DJs, including Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, DVBBS, Showtek and many more, already confirmed for the 4 days long beach party. In 2014 the event attracted a full house of 145 000 fans and 2015 could see just the same.

This year MasterCard Balaton Sound takes place between 9-12 July at the well-known venue of Zamárdi, Lake Balaton, Hungary.

The organizers of MasterCard Balaton Sound have always aimed to present the biggest international stars of electronic music and this year is no exception, also proven by the strength of the first 15 announced acts. The first package includes Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Grammy award winning DJ and producer, Afrojack. In addition DVBBS, Boys Noize, Showtek and British singer and songwriter, Charli XCX will bring great vibes to the event this summer.

Among the names we can find Joey Bada$$, the brilliant multi-dimensional Berlin duo Pan-Pot and Dutch DJ and producer Quintino. The Sound crowd will also definitely enjoy the shows by Vinai, Klingande, Roni Size & Reprazent, Chris Liebing and The Bloody Beetroots (SBCR DJ Set), also known as Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo from The Bloody Beetroots.

An extra good news is awaiting those who have a Festival Pass for Balaton Sound as they will not only get 4 headliners on the Main Stage, but 5. The biggest stage of the event is already in operation on Day 0 and organizers have invited a well-known and very much awaited international all-star, who will be revealed in couple of weeks.

MasterCard Balaton Sound is organized in the charming town of Zamárdi since the very beginning and local authorities have recently agreed to keep the festival site there till at least 2020. Connected to this positive decision, organizers have initiated a large scale project of infrastructural developments, aiming to further improve services provided to festival visitors on the area.

Among others, the project will result in new parks, renewed roads and improved campsite services to create and even safer and more convenient stay for all visitors. Similarly to previous years, exciting and unique decorations will appear all over the festival, where major stages will not only be equipped with several pyrotechnical tools, but fireworks and mega installations will amaze the audience on the grounds as well as on the water.

Regarding the festival setup, many developments took place last year, like moving the Main Stage, the Party Arena and the Terrace to provide more space onsite. These transformations will continue also in 2015 and, as an outcome, the program of the Party Arena will be held in a much bigger tent with the area of 5500 square meters. The Terrace will also go through major changes and will move into a very unique installation.

As MasterCard Balaton Sound is organized right on the beach of Lake Balaton, the organizers are planning to take even more advantage of the one kilometer shore by constructing more and more venues on the lake itself, with stages dedicated to different sub-genres of electronic music and lounge bars hosting international DJs.

The accommodation possibilities have also expanded this year. Right next to the festival area the brand new VIP Camping will await visitors looking for higher comfort and a wider range of services. Special wooden houses, pre-settled caravans and pre-pitched tents are allocated, so devoted Sound fans can enjoy some sleep real close to the party central. The VIP Camping also has its own pier and beach on the shore of Lake Balaton, while an internet tent will allow access the world wide web.

Besides the basic camping possibility, many different types of accommodations are located not only in Zamárdi, but also in the neighboring cities of Siófok, or Balatonföldvár. More information and offers will follow in the upcoming weeks.
