Hungarian Contractors Could Get Two-Thirds Of Paks Construction
Two-thirds of the construction work involved with the upgrade of Hungary’s Paks nuclear power plant could be done by local companies, Valeriy Limarenko, president of general contractor NIAEP, a unit of Russia’s state-owned nuclear company Rosatom, told journalists in Minsk.

Under Hungary’s agreement on the upgrade, locally contracted work will account for 40% of the total project cost. In the current phase of the upgrade, the control system and turbines are being designed, Limarenko said.
