Tobacco Concessions Tender Announced In Hungary

The National Tobacco Sales Nonprofit Company (NDN) announced another tender for tobacco sales concessions. The tender is the sixth called for concessions since Hungary introduced a state monopoly on retail tobacco sales in July of 2013. It is for concessions in 490 communities.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 2, 2015. At present, about 5,845 tobacco shops with concessions operate in Hungary.
A further 476 shops are selling tobacco temporarily, until an applicant is awarded the respective concession.
