Bigger Than Ever 'Night Of Museums' On Saturday
More than 360 of Hungary’s cultural institutions will stay open late and offer special attractions on this year’s Museum Night on June 20th, culture state secretary Péter Hoppál announced. Participating venues include, castles, open air museums, zoos, public baths, botanical gardens, cultural centres and archives.

Railway companies MÁV-Start and Gysev will take part by providing a 50% discount on tickets between any Hungarian train station and Budapest.

The official centre of this year’s event will be Eger, particularly its Dobó István Vármúzeum.

Visitors can gain entry to the cultural institutions with a standard armband and can avail themselves of dedicated buses on six different routes in Budapest.

Last year’s event drew a record number of 400,000 visitors.
