Among the nearly hundred exhibitors almost all creative industries will be present: fashion- and, leather designers, jewellers, ceramic and- textile artists, illustrators, and also an impressive gastro section of high quality gastro producers will be at the museum. WAMP also relates to this year’s theme of Design Week Budapest Home Sweet Home.
Simultaneously to the fair in a separate hall at the first floor WAMP will open its own living room with the title Feel like home with us for all looking for inspiration and relaxation. In cooperation with the stylists of Odú Design - Zsanett Huszár és Erzsébet Varsányi – a social space will be created here which is furnished by the furniture, home accessories and other décor objects of the exhibitors and invited designers.
Here visitors can not only check out the latest works of Hungarian designers but also the freshest trends of interior design.
The creative team behind this project has thoughtfully planned every little detail, with unique ideas and their self-made objects they create this space even more spectacular and provide an unforgettable time for the guest. Most exhibited works will be on sale on the spot, and there will be also opportunity to meet and talk with the designers themselves.
Showcased will be for example the small bent tables of Studio Nomad, the felt pillows of Turbuk Ági Konda Brigi’s rustic- and Lantos Judit’s delicate ceramics, the printed fake leather home accessories of CATA – by imecskata and the illustrations and pictures of Marcus Goldson and Urban Sidewalker.
The designer of the month is as well a home design brand, Lamoppe.
Behind the brand is Laura Mózes, who has been designing and making cushions only for a few years. This genre is spectacular anyway, but the brand offers even more: some items are vibrantly colourful, other ones are moderate monochrome pieces, the patterns represent geometric or kaleidoscopic polygons which truly amaze everyone from Budapest till London.
Laura is a very productive artist, she is full with ideas, she can hardly realize them. Her latest pieces and the newest patterns can all be found at the October WAMP.
