Hungarian Police Asked To Give Back Overtime Pay
- 21 Dec 2015 8:00 AM
Police who worked extra hours on Hungary’s southern borders during the refugee crisis are being asked to return some of their overtime pay, Népszabadság reports. The work was performed in September and October, most often in 16-hour shifts. The explanation is that the officers have been paid for more overtime than they actually worked.
It is clear proof of the inhumane attitude of the Fidesz cabinet that it reclaims a considerable part of the overtime from police just before Christmas, Jobbik declared in a Sunday statement.
