KÉSZ Wins HUF 1 Bln Order For Budapest P&R Facility

Construction company KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő has won an order worth approximately net HUF 1 billion to build a P&R facility at the end of Budapestʼs number 4 Metro line at Kelenföld, the Budapest local council, the Budapest transport center BKK and the project directorate of BKV DBR Metro said in a joint statement.
The facility will be built on the old, unused railway lines of Hungarian state railway MÁV, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2016.
The P&R facility is the last of four such facilities built to serve the passengers of the metro line. The other three were completed in September, November and December and have a capacity for 950 cars. The new facility will span nearly 1,500 sqm.
