MPs Laptops Stolen From Parliament
The head of Parliament’s storeroom is accused of stealing 90 computer devices, including seven brand new laptops belonging to Fidesz from Parliament and the MPs office building, website Átlátszó reported on Tuesday. Police found one of the laptops advertised on the internet and found the suspect through the seller.

The chief suspect is also accused of taking 74 desktop computers and five monitors out of the Parliament building.

Átlátszó notes that she apparently did this under the noses of the 370-member Parliamentary Guard formed by Speaker László Kövér in 2013 with an annual budget of Ft 2.3 billion.

Because of the theft, guards will check the bags of all personnel leaving Parliament and the MPs office building from Monday.
