Olympic Bid Logo Presented In Budapest

Organisers of Budapest’s 2024 Olympic bid unveiled their logo at a media ceremony on top of Gellért Hill on Thursday. The logo displays an image of the Statue of Liberty atop a green hill, looking onto a series of waves representing the Danube in the colours of the Olympic rings.
The winning design by Graphasel, a young artists design studio, was chosen by a professional jury from among nearly 200 entries.
Competing cities Los Angeles, Paris and Rome unveiled their logos earlier.
The International Olympic Committee will announce the winner in September 2017.
