Guitarist/singer Dávid Lamm is equally at home in all branches of jazz. He is a brilliant soloist and accompanist. In his own groove-centric band, Delalamm and in Nikoletta Szőke’s Version B Projekt he is an outstanding purveyor of the danceable, hummable end of the genre.
However, he is brilliant when he comes to straight-ahead jazz as well. One rather suspects the latter in this line-up.
Bass maestro József Barcza Horváth, a bandleader, composer and arranger himself, is one of the greatest exponents of his instrument in this country which is choc-a-bloc full of world class bassists anyway. Percussionist András Dés is, without a doubt, the very best of the mid-generation of Hungarian players.
