Hungary Retail Sales Up 4.7% In January

Retail sales in Hungary climbed by 4.7% in January from the same month a year earlier, preliminary data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show. Retail sales rose by an annual 3.7% when adjusted for calendar year effects.
The pace of growth accelerated from December when retail sales grew by 2.8% according to unadjusted and were up by 3.3% according to calendar-adjusted data.
