If more and more countries engage in the war in Ukraine, the greater the likelihood is of a world war involving nuclear weapons, the group leader of ruling Fidesz said in an interview.
Fidesz is working on amending the electoral law to prevent nominating organisations from receiving campaign funding from abroad at future elections. At present, only direct funding of parties from abroad is banned.
Measures aimed at curbing inflation will remain in place until there is a noticeable improvement, Gergely Gulyás, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office told a news briefing, adding that inflation had slowly started to decline and was expected to fall into single digits by the end of the year.
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó on Wednesday said Hungary respected the re-election of Milorad Dodik, the Serbian member of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s presidential troika.
