Smart street lights capable of a variety of functions were presented on Lechner Ödön fasor in the Ninth District in Budapest.

The pilot project connects five public lighting lamps with intelligent functions, one on each post.

The lamps can be used for Wi-Fi, emergency calls, electric vehicle charging and video surveillance and come with an information screen.

The project cost Ft 50 million to the investor, electricity distributor Elmű-Émász, said chairwoman Marie-Theres Thiell.
