Three people have died of exposure in Hungary since October 15 when the new law criminalising homelessness entered into effect, the Hungarian Social Forum announced on Tuesday.
In all, seven people have died since the late September cold nights, the organisation added.
The Forum said it supports the petition circulated under the title ”Lawyers protest against the criminalisation of homelessness” which has been signed by more than 2,000 people.
