'Magnétic': Contemporary Juggling Performance @ Trafó, 20 & 21 September
Jérôme Thomas, one of the world's biggest jugglers, has revolutionized the genre. His latest work is saturated by poetry and musicality.

In this piece in three parts, inspired by HIC, an emblematic show of the company, 4 female jugglers manipulate long sticks, elastics or polystyrene sheets.

White balls float alone in the black of the theater, the sticks bend and seem like wild grass, an astonishing geometry arises from the manipulation of threads and balls, revealed by light and speed. These simple elements are sufficient to create a poetic and kinetic universe.

Today, with the music and video by Wilfried Wendling, the show acquires a contemporaneous dimension, not deprived of a certain harshness.
