Hungarian Govt Proposes Bill To Lawmakers On Tightening Rules On Parole
With a view to reinforcing protections for victims of violent crime and their relatives, the government has submitted a bill on tightening parole rules.

In a debate of the bill in parliament, Pál Völner, the state secretary of the ministry of justice, said perpetrators of the most serious crimes, such as a deliberate attack on human life, should not be eligible for parole if sentenced to a fixed prison term.
