The Promise, A New Book By A Hungarian Expat
- 24 Sep 2020 5:32 PM
A book, which is not only the dedication, but also the inspiration of three family members of the writer who passed away recently. The death of them inspired her to put her grief and loss in the journey of the protagonist, Tess. We can feel different emotions throughout the book, not only grief, but happiness, disappointment, excitement and also joy.
The book starts with a sad moment at the cemetery, where Tess feels lost and hopeless to live her life. She looks for signs what could help her, when she suddenly remembers a promise made to her. She wishes the promise will be held and meets the person at that place which they discussed.
When he appears, she remembers her life starting from her teenage years and how it led her to this moment. How she met this person, how many times her heart got broken, the several disappointments she faced and how all the bad things brought her actually one good thing – a friendship.
Even though most of the books like this are showing the romance between a woman and a man, this one emphasizes friendship, which is not the most common thing.
Most people do not believe in it all and say, one of them must feel more. Is that true in this case as well? The book ends with a big question, what will happen next to the main characters, which will be answered in the next part, The Vow, which is coming out mid-2021.
This is the first book of the author, Kristina M., which is available on pre-sale until 1st of October,2020 for Kindle version in every Amazon store. During this period, she sold over 100 copies already. The book will be available in Kindle, eBook and also Paperback form to every reader around the World.
Kristina M. wishes that all the readers out there found themselves in the steps of Tess and enjoy the journey with her through her life. There is a lot of ups and downs, but there is always the light at the end of the tunnel, which will bring joy back our life. Do you know what is yours?
