Higher Pine Tree Prices Not Deterring Demand in Hungary
The 10-20% increase in the price of pine trees expected for this year's Advent will not cause a significant change in shopping habits, as 54% of buyers are still interested in Nordic pine, according to a survey conducted by agroinform.hu.

Some 26% of the respondents plan to purchase a Christmas tree for an amount higher than HUF 7,000-10,000, and another 23% for more than HUF 10,000.

According to the forecast of the Interprofessional Organization of Hungarian Ornamental Gardeners, pine prices will increase by 10-20% in December this year compared to last year, including spruce by HUF 4,000-5,000, silver pine by HUF 5,000-6,000, and Nordmann pines for about HUF 7,000 per meter.
