The new Hungarian parliament is set to hold its inaugural session on Saturday, and elect Peter Magyar, the leader of the Tisza party, as the new prime minister, according to the agenda posted on parliament's website on Wednesday.
Parliament has adopted legislation granting Hungarian tax and customs authority NAV power to investigate the matter of the Ukrainian cash and gold, which was halted in transit in Hungary last week.
Deliveries of Russian crude through the Ukrainian section of the Druzhba pipeline have resumed, Hungarian oil and gas company MOL said on Wednesday.
Hungary's incoming Tisza government will retain all effective existing policies, as outlined in its 240-page platform, Peter Magyar, the party's leader, said in an interview to public media on Wednesday.
