Magyar Telekom Raised Prices from September
Magyar Telekom will increase its monthly and access fees of many, primarily older, products from September 1, website hwsw learned from letters sent to subscribers.

Furthermore, the company will carry out an automatic price hike in line with inflation every year starting from 2023.

The September fee adjustments mainly affect household mobile phone, mobile internet, landline internet, landline phone and TV services sold between 2017 and 2020. The increases usually do not reach 10%.

Magyar Telekom told the website that the changes are not a response to the extra profit tax, which will cost the company Ft 25 billion annually.

Recently, Digi, which is owned by 4iG, adjusted its retail prices effective from July 1, by an average of 12%.
