Russian sectors that require advanced technologies are grappling with supply problems, said Spinant, as they depend on the EU for 45% of their supply and the US for 21%, while the share of Chinese suppliers that can be mobilised is only 11%. And since the EU has already embargoed Russian coal imports, production is down 97% from a year ago.
