Supermarket Puts Second Special E-Truck into Service in Budapest
Aldi Hungary has put its second electric truck into service, which is serving the stores operating in central Budapest, the discount retail chain announced.

The three-axle, 27-ton special refrigerated Scania truck is powered by a 230kW electric drive train.

Aldi said both the propulsion and the vehicle cooling system operate on batteries, which are recharged with electricity generated from renewable sources.
