Why Tesco Will Fully Outsource Home Delivery in Hungary

For years, the supermarket chain operated a dual model, relying on both its own couriers and Dodo, which had been its contracted partner since the service’s inception.
Tesco has opted for the change due to “positive experiences and a drive for greater efficiency”.
The transition, implemented over the past year, affected 89 of Tesco’s delivery staff.
Tesco said efforts were made to offer alternative employment, while Dodo and Wolt offered new employment opportunities.
Ultimately, just over 10% of those affected opted to remain with Tesco.
