Household Products Added to Price-Monitoring Platform in Hungary
Household and hygienic products have been added to a price-monitoring platform launched to boost competition and counter consumer price inflation, the Competition Office (GVH) said.

GVH said 42 product categories were added to the platform, bringing the total to 142.

The platform tracks prices of food products at the six biggest supermarket chains: Aldi, Auchan, Lidl, Penny, Spar and Tesco. Now it tracks prices of a range of household products at dm, Muller and Rossmann, too.

GVH launched the price-monitoring platform two years ago.
