"Beer Bucket List” Offers Special Tastes in Ten Budapest Pubs
The best-known Hungarian beer magazine has created a beer guide to draw attention to the sophisticated consumption of beer, special quality draft beer, and food that goes well with a variety of beer types

The publication, called Bucket List (Bakancslista), is valid in ten restaurants in the Hungarian capital, reports Turizmus.com.

The booklet works in a similar way to scratchcards: each restaurant has a scratch area on the side, but every scratch is a winner: the holders of the booklet get two glasses of draft beer for scratching.

The Bucket List features ten restaurants and pubs in Budapest that pay particular attention to the quality of their beers and the harmony they create with the food they serve.

Among the establishments included in the coupon booklet are family-run small restaurants, new wave beer bars, and modern pubs specializing in craft specialties. Bucket List customers can immerse themselves in the diverse worlds of Budapest’s beer scene and sample a number of rarities not available elsewhere in the city.

Among the participating venues are BAZ BeerCraft Head Brewpub & Bistro with its amazing range of beers and food, Jónás Craft Beer and Food and Kandalló PubKispolszki with its Polish beers, and InVitro Beer Bar, specializing in its own beers.

The Bucket List coupon booklet, offering a total of 30 glasses of beer, is valid until May 31, 2024 and can be purchased online at BeerPorn.hu.

Hungary Today

Online since 2014, this source states its aim as "to provide a complete, unbiased picture of Hungary”. It continues by acknowledging this “does not necessarily mean that our writers do not have their own opinions, sometimes reflected to a degree in the articles they publish”, and it's really worth readers keeping that in mind. Another stated aim is to become ‘the leading English-language news portal of Hungary’, a position held for 20 years by good old independent XpatLoop! Still our team has no issue with positively highlighting one or two useful articles published by Hungary Today here with permission for your interest.
