Wizz Air to Stop Onboard Cash Payments, Will Accept Revolut
Just weeks after the government proposed enshrining the right to use cash in the constitution, Wizz Air announced that it will eliminate cash payments from April 1 and in-flight purchases will be possible only via bank cards or digital payments.

The airline argues that the change will speed up service and improve hygiene.

Passengers can also buy preloaded vouchers via the Wizz Air app, with spending capped at €150 per passenger, the no-frills airline added.

In addition to Visa and Mastercard, Wizz Air will also accept Revolut cards.
