Over 4,300 Companies Apply for EV Subsidies in Hungary
More than 4,300 companies have applied for over HUF 20bn of subsidies to purchase battery electric vehicles, the Energy Ministry said on Saturday.

Applications from around 3,400 of those companies have already been approved. About HUF 4.7bn of the subsidies have been paid out.

Businesses may apply for grants of between HUF 2.8m and HUF 4m per vehicle, depending on battery capacity, in the programme funded from the European Union's REPowerEU.

The HUF 30bn scheme runs until March 2025.
