Same-Name Legal Action Taken Against Shein Store in Budapest by Shein Online
Chinese fast-fashion retailer Shein has publicly denied claims that it has opened a store in a Budapest shopping centre, saying its products are sold exclusively online.

Hungarian media reported that a boutique shop named Shein Store had opened at the Sugár Shopping Centre at Örs vezér tere on Thursday morning.

The company in a statement explicitly disassociated itself from having any physical retail presence in Hungary, and said it cannot vouch for the quality or authenticity of the items sold.

Communications director Robin Kiely said Shein would take "appropriate measures" against the unauthorised store to safeguard its Hungarian customers.
