V4 Festival & Theatre Meeting, Nagymaros, 20 - 23 June

Over the past 11 years, the VéNégy Festival has grown from a regional theater meeting into the most prestigious and biggest theater and art festival in the Visegrád region.
The 10th jubilee festival was held last year, which welcomed 13,192 people, more than ever before, in Nagymaros.
The biggest innovation of the Festival is that it was able to remain a theater festival by constantly increasing the number of visitors, with prestigious domestic and international musical acts, as well as unique cultural and leisure daily programs during the festival.
The VéNégy Festival and Theater Meeting competes with the biggest music festivals in terms of performers, so that its original purpose is not mere entertainment, but the broadening of cultural relations between the Visegrád countries.
After the festival, Hungary will take over the presidency of the European Union from July 1.
This is an excellent opportunity to start a dialogue within the framework of a conference at the festival about the region’s place within the EU and the cultural and social opportunities that help the region assert its interests in the European community.
By the way, this year Hungary and the region will be a member of the Union for 20 years, and the strengthening of the V4 countries took place within this community-
The festival will be held between June 20-23, 2024, on the banks of the Danube in Nagymaros.
This is a worthy location of the festival and from which a dazzling panorama opens up to the Visegrád Castle, the emblematic location of the V4 cooperation started nearly 700 years ago.
The Festival stepped up again in 2023, as the existing programs were expanded with new elements that would be sufficient on their own for a separate program or festival, and one of the jewels of the step up is that for the third year now, the festival has an international music star performer!
At the festival you wili find International theatre productions, street art productions, musical festival, conference, daily touristic programs, and a VR Theatre.
