'VéNégy' is Coming Soon: Four Days of Festival Magic by the Danube Bend
From June 20 to 23, Nagymaros will host the VéNégy Festival and Theater Meeting, offering a vibrant cultural experience for enthusiasts.

Alongside outstanding theatrical and street theater performances, and family-friendly programs, festival-goers can enjoy a buzzing music scene.

The festival will feature iconic international and Hungarian stars, along with musical delights from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.

 With 60 music programs spread across five stages, highlights include dance houses, Techno Yoga, and electronic music journeys.

Notable performers include British drum and bass trio Kosheen, 30Y, Analog Balaton, Aurevoir., AWS, Aron Andras & The Black Circle Orchestra, Belau, Beton.Hofi, Brains, Dzsúdló, Elefánt, Firkin, Irie Maffia, Mehringer, Platon Karataev, Subscribe, and Tankcsapda. Discounted tickets are available until June 13.

Kosheen headlines the festival, while popular bands such as 30Y, AWS, Beton.Hofi, Dzsúdló, Elefánt, Irie Maffia, and Tankcsapda will perform on the main stage.

Returning acts include Analog Balaton and Aron Andras & The Black Circle Orchestra, with Co Lee delivering a live band show.

Subscribe will present their Rage Against The Machine Tribute Show. Aurevoir., Brains, and Firkin will keep the audience dancing, and the closing day's lineup features the Kossuth Award-winning Misztrál ensemble.

The festival will also showcase exciting musical acts from the Visegrad countries.

Anika Iris from Bratislava brings fresh indie-pop tunes, while the Czech Republic's Tygroo blends Balkan motifs, brass symphonies, electronic music, jazz, and rap. Polish post-punk band The Pau, known for bold guitar riffs, will perform on the festival's closing day.

Emerging Hungarian bands will also take the stage, offering a rich variety of genres from fusion jazz to electronic music, progressive rock, and metalcore.

Notable performers include kisbetűs ünnepnapok, Cserihanna, Juhász Zoli, Géem, Labek & Chrobak, Gorg & Benzol, Selah Vie, Szlimmy, Vodka For Kids, Barkóczi Noémi with Sallai László, Flanger Kids, Lil Frakk, Mehringer, Slapstick?, Sisi, Young B!TE, and Zaekar. Sunday’s rock day will feature Tengeri Püspök, WIRES, and Woodstock Barbie.

Additional activities include dance houses, intimate guitar performances, electronic music acts along the picturesque, wild Danube shore, and an evening DJ set by OIEE.

 Techno Yoga will present a new daytime summer edition. The parties will continue until dawn, with Be Massive Horizon Party kicking off the festival, Ludmilla’s energetic sets on drum and bass day, and Spigiboy closing the festival.

There’s something for everyone at the festival, from families with young children to Gen Z youth. "Our theatrical, musical, and daytime programs offer a comprehensive artistic experience in a family-friendly, nature-close, and picturesque setting," added festival director Márk Kis Domonkos.
