VéNégy Festival: Celebrating Visegrád Unity Through Music and Culture
From July 2 to 5, the VéNégy Festival and Theatre Meeting in Nagymaros - nestled along the stunning Danube Bend - will once again bring together music lovers with an electrifying line-up of over 40 performances across four stages.

International Highlights

A major highlight of this year’s festival is the Austrian indie rock duo, Cari Cari, set to take the stage on July 3. Hailed as the greatest discovery of Primavera Sound Barcelona by Rolling Stone, the duo - Stephanie Widmer and Alexander Koeck - seamlessly blend melancholic dreamscapes with raw, untamed energy.

Also performing is Erika Rein, a Slovak artist who effortlessly fuses new wave pop with R&B.

Showcasing the centuries-old Polish-Hungarian friendship, Budapest-based Haldamas and Krakow’s Hulajdusza will present their collaborative album, Áldomás, on July 4 - a fusion of Hungarian and Polish folk music with classical, contemporary, and jazz influences.

Closing the festival on July 5, Yasno, the Polish indie pop duo known for their catchy melodies and swinging rhythms, will take the spotlight. Festival-goers can also dance to the beats of Nill Garcon, a renowned Czech DJ-producer.

Hungarian Music Scene

Hungary’s music scene will be well represented, spanning multiple genres:

Rap – Dzsúdló, Bëlga, Desh, Sisi, Lil Frakk, Co Lee
Pop & Alternative Rock – Elefánt, Blahalouisiana, Bohemian Betyars, Esti Kornél, Hakumba, Quimby, 4S Street, Fiúk
Electronic Music – Analóg Balaton, Hundred Sins

Emerging talent will also take the spotlight, with Lenkke_, an exciting new name in Hungary’s alternative electronic scene, performing on the festival’s scenic waterfront stage. Palo Canto, a techno traveler, will bring his signature beats, while biankahaidu, Janet Gruber, Nanana, Swim Swim Naked, and WXLFLESS—all part of the Hangfoglaló Program - will showcase their fresh sounds.

More Than Just Music

In addition to its diverse lineup, VéNégy Festival will feature electronic music productions and ambient live performances. The festivities will kick off with a campfire party on Day Zero, exclusively for season ticket holders.

Over the past 11 years, VéNégy has grown from a regional theater gathering into the Visegrád region’s premier festival for music, arts, and culture. Last year’s 10th anniversary edition saw a record-breaking 13,192 attendees in Nagymaros.

With its mission to unite the Visegrád Group through music, VéNégy Festival continues to strengthen cultural ties and create unforgettable experiences.
