Goodwill Pharma Inaugurates HUF 5 Billion Expansion in Hungary
Hungarian-owned pharmaceutical and dietary supplement maker Goodwill Pharma inaugurated a HUF 5bn expansion at its base in Szeged (SE Hungary).

President-CEO Ferenc Jojart said the company won HUF 1.8bn of conditional European Union and state grant money for the project.

Goodwill Pharma built a logistics centre for storing 4,000-5,000 pallets of medicines, established production facilities, set up a new pharmaceutical laboratory and created an office building in the centre of the city.

Jojart said in addition to further technological developments, the company is raising capital to make acquisitions. Another investment is planned for a herbal processing plant, he added.

Long-term plans include reaching a capitalization of USD 1bn in a few years and raising headcount to around 1,000.

Goodwill Pharma's shares are listed on the bourse's Xtend platform tailored to SMEs.

The firm’s revenue in the first half of 2024 reached HUF 8.6bn.
