Special Events for Valentine's Day in Budapest at Palace of Arts
Entertaining Valentine's Day programs await visitors on February 14th as part of the new Valentine+ initiative offered by Müpa.

The program, titled The Great Hungarian Songbook - Valentine's Day Special Edition for Couples, creates an easy-going framework for encounters for the first time in Müpa's history, says a press statement sent to MTI.

The evening will start at the Bohém Restaurant for those who have purchased tickets for the limited-seat extra program, where a Müpa quiz titled Common Denominator, specifically for single visitors, offers the opportunity to get to know each other in a playful way.

This will be followed by a concert at the Festival Theatre, organized with a longer break than usual, during which popular Hungarian love songs will be performed in a jazz-style performance by the Jazzical Trio, singer Dóra Behumi and actor and musician Benjámin Lengyel.

For those celebrating Valentine's Day as a couple, Müpa is preparing a classic experience:

In the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, the melodies composed for Charlie Chaplin's masterpiece, City Lights, made in 1931, which tells the story of a tramp and a blind flower girl, will come to life in a performance by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra.

Anyone can participate in the program by joining the Müpa+ loyalty program community for free here:https://mupa.hu/husegprogram

Venue:
Palace of Arts Budapest
1095 Budapest, Komor Marcell utca 1.

So what is Jazz? Something that is difficult to define? Of course, because of its amazing ability to change styles! If you want it to be, it can be romantic-psychedelic magic, and at other times it’s an ambient jazz-pop journey, or perhaps a touch of hip-hop-afrobeat levitation. At the 17th, Jazz Showcase, every note points to the future.
