The tender will offer sole proprietors, microbusinesses and SMEs between HUF 3m and HUF 12m to cover up to 90pc of project costs, Solymar said.

Several thousand businesses are expected to benefit from the support, he added.

The government aims to raise Hungary's score on the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) for businesses with at least a basic level of digital intensity from 59.8pc to 89pc by 2030, he added.
